Meet the team

We’re a small team making headcovers and golf accessories in our Yorkshire workshop. Some days we’re working on a whole collection for a golf club; other days it’s one cover with a story behind it. Either way, it starts with an idea and passes through real hands before it leaves us.

That’s what we like most about doing things ourselves. We get to talk through the details, try something new and take pride in the finished piece. There’s a person behind every design, every stitch and every parcel that leaves the workshop. Here’s a little more about us.

 

Ryan — Embroidery & Production Specialist

Ryan is one of the people who turns a design into something you can hold. He works on embroidery and production, making sure the details come through beautifully on the finished cover.

When he’s not at Clamp, Ryan is a keen bowls player.

 

Lesley — Master Seamstress

Lesley has been working with sewing machines for over 35 years, so there isn’t much she hasn’t seen at a sewing table. She brings that experience to every cover, bag and accessory she makes.

 

Chloe — Admin

Chloe helps keep things running behind the scenes. From enquiries and orders to the everyday details that keep the workshop moving, she helps make sure your ideas get to the right people and your finished pieces get on their way to you.

 

Josh — Founder

Clamp Golf Company began in 2020 in Josh’s nan’s garage, during lockdown. What started as an idea for more personal headcovers has grown into a workshop making custom pieces for golfers and clubs around the world. Josh still loves getting stuck into a new design, especially when someone comes to us with an idea they’re not quite sure is possible.

 

Outside of the worksop: Anything outdoors, walking or camping with his dog, Oslo.
