Clamp Golf Co. Ambassador George Mason Wins iTS Tour 2020 Pro Tour Event

 We are excited to announce that our ambassador, George Mason, has won his first tournament since turning professional. In a strong field of golfers, George shot a total score of 67, 4 under gross, to win the iTS Tour 2020 Pro Tour competition at Mooretown Golf Club.

Designed by famous golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie, who also designed Augusta National, Mooretown Golf Club provided a challenging course for the players. Measuring at a whopping 7,301 yards on the day of the competition, the course demanded precision and skill from the golfers.

After speaking with George after the round, he said "Although I made two bogies in the first four holes, I felt I was hitting the ball well and remained patient. I was putting well from the beginning of the round and knew that as long as I hit strong iron shots, I had a chance to win". "Despite being 1 over through 6, I chipped in from the side of the green which got me back to level par and gave me some momentum for the back 9 where I made 3 birdies. I just played consistently throughout the day, which ultimately paid off"
